I had a walk with Hooi this morning to Southern Ridge Park. This was the 1st time for us to walk this trail since it opened last year.
We started from Alexander Arch to Forest Walk then ended up at Henderson Wave. We did not walk the entire trails and parks which linked from West Coast Park to HarbourFront. We leave it to next time! Then we can come again, haha!
We took bus reached to Alexander Arch, therefore departed from there. Alexander Arch is a 80 meters long bridge that has the shape of an arch that resembles an open leaf that can link to Forest Walk and also HortPark. We chose to go Forest Park that the long walkway cut through the secondary forest in Teluk Belangah Hill Park. The walkway brushes the canopy of trees and offers a bird’s eye view of the forest.
Forest Walk at different elevation level
Henderson Wave is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It has a wave-form made up of seven undulating curved steel ribs that alternately rise over and under its deck. Quite unique.
Our walk only took about 2 hours then we ended up the journey at Henderson Wave. I think I had been too long didn't exercise!Just a simple walk I had felt really refreshing!

Inline Skating Trial
In my 27 years living, I had never tried out inline skating. Today I managed to experience it in Clementi West Coast Community Center. That was a trial of a skating course to survey the resident response. By paying $5 then you can rent their skating shoes included complete set of safety gears, of course with a young trainer.
Among all the participants, 3 of us were the oldest. The youngest was around 4-5 years old, if I am not wrong. 4 basic things we learned in the course. 1st is how to wear the shoes and safety gears, 2nd is how to fall in correct way without injured yourself (people says: u must learn to fall before u learn to walk). 3rd is how to stand up. Finally is how to walk.
We learned how to stand up. Look simple but a bit hard at the beginning.
Carol was the one keep on falling on to the ground! Perhaps her balancing not so good!Damn funny!
See! I can stand up le!
Although only one and half hour trial session but we really enjoyed it!
